AI Employee Plans: Basic vs Standard, Which Fits Your Business
Vardhan AI's Sales AI Employee comes in two plans, priced by monthly conversation volume, not by feature-gating. Here's what's actually different between them and how to tell which one fits.

Vardhan AI's Sales AI Employee is priced by two straightforward plans, tiered by volume rather than by locking basic features behind a higher tier. Here's what's actually in each, so the choice is about your real conversation volume, not guesswork. (For the broader Indian market landscape across vendors, see our general AI employee pricing guide — this post is specifically about Vardhan AI's own two plans.)
Basic
- Setup: ₹25,000, one-time
- Monthly: ₹7,500
- Covers: up to 300 conversations a month
- Includes: the full qualifying flow, rate quoting if you provide pricing, one-time setup on your current data, standard support
Standard
- Setup: ₹50,000, one-time
- Monthly: ₹15,000
- Covers: 300+ conversations a month
- Includes: everything in Basic, plus ongoing brain and tone updates, and priority support
The real difference: ongoing updates, not core capability
Both plans get the full qualifying flow and real quoting. What Standard adds is that your pricing and tone stay current as your business changes — Basic is a one-time setup on your current data, without ongoing updates. If your prices, products or policies change often, that ongoing update is the thing you're actually paying for.
How to estimate your volume
Count your last 30 days of inbound sales enquiries across WhatsApp, calls and email. Under roughly 300 a month, Basic likely covers you comfortably. Over that, or growing toward it, Standard avoids hitting the cap. During the discovery call we help pick the right plan based on what you're actually seeing today, not a guess.
What happens if you outgrow your plan
If real volume runs past your plan's monthly cap, a per-conversation rate is agreed together after onboarding, based on real usage — not a rigid overage penalty. If you're already on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Cloud API rather than a standard linked-device setup, there's a modest one-time setup premium to account for the extra integration work; monthly pricing doesn't change either way.
Which one should you start with?
If you're deploying your first AI employee and aren't certain of your real volume yet, Basic is the lower-commitment way to prove the model works before paying for ongoing updates you may not need immediately. If your catalogue or pricing changes month to month, Standard removes the risk of it going stale.
